Hand-cut + tumbled edges, veining, natural clefts, a brushed/buffed texture and undulating surface features, all add interest and help create the feeling of an old, aged stone floor. 

Hard wearing and easy to maintain and with a more prestigious aesthetic  Whitby Limestone is a great alternative to black slate flooring.
